College Life

After I graduated in high school, I planned to study at Tarlac State University and I take up the admission test with my sister and luckily I passed it. I went to College of Computer Studies and I enrolled the course of Bachelor of Computer Science and on that day I was totally enrolled. I stayed there for first semester and I’ve also met some friends, we always do our projects and assignment at 7 eleven during our past time or sometimes we go to SM when our professor will not

meet us. At the end of the first semester, my sister and I decided to transfer at Tarlac College of Agriculture because it was too hard for us to commute everyday and our parents don’t want to rent a house for us. We went back to Tarlac State University to get the other requirements that we need for the enrollment for our second school. I take up again an entrance exam and luckily I’ve passed it. I enrolled two years course and that is the Certificate in Office Management so I became an irregular student.

As I entered at Tarlac College of Agriculture for second semester I don’t know how to socialize with them but when I entered on my classroom I felt that they want me to be their friend because they entertain me and ask many questions about me. One girl comes over me and she told me that she wants me to be her friend and I appreciate it, her name is Nancy. She is chubby, brown complexion and some says that she is the funniest classmates. I did not enjoy my second semester because I don’t have any close friends that I can share my problems or stories in my life but I never regret it.

Another school year comes I met a new friends; we introduce each other and know more each other. On

our first week we named our group a “7 friendly” we were Melody Grospe, Marife Nuyles, Karen Reyla, Faye Bunao, Hydie Captan, Justine Mae Reyla and Rosemarie Cutarra. A week after there were three people who want to join on our group they are Maribeth Ragos, Lilibeth Ragos, and Nobelyn Gabatin and we change our group name into “7 friendly and company”. We have a lot of memories that we made and sometimes we have a misunderstanding to each other but we can fix it easily.

 

We went anywhere during our first semester. We go to our different houses and having a food trips and to meet our parents. We go to different places to make some good memories and enjoy every hour that we are together. As time goes by, we meet another group and that was the students of Certificate in Computer Hardware Technology. They were good to us and we are also good to them. We treat them as “barkadas” and we name it as “ComCHTianz” so every time we have hang outs they will also join to us.

Our first socialization night was entitled “young, wild, and free” that night was very happy because that was one of our bondings of “ComCHTianz” and we dance like a crazy or what we call as crazy dance. Second time around our socialization this year was not good as last socialization because of the weather but even though that was happen that night, the party continued and I enjoy it.

Even though there are many challenges and struggles that come to us we will never give up and we will be strong enough to face all the trials that will came in our life. We study hard to pass all our subjects and by this year we will be graduated.                                                                                                                           

High School Life

As I finish my elementary school my parents decided to enroll me at Camiling Catholic School and it was headed by a Nun. My freshman year of high school was an amazing eye-opener for me. I met a greater variety of people in a single classroom. On the first day of school I am very shy and nervous to introduce myself in front of my classmates and one of their policies is to always wear our proper uniform every day.

We always attend the first Friday Mass every month and also the Novena every Wednesday. Every time we start our subjects we always pray first and also at the end of every subjects. I met my first best friend during my freshmen year, her name is Vernadeth. She always there for me and give me some advices whenever I had a problem. I belong to a lower section when I am in first year and as time goes by I belong to a cream of the crop from 3^rd yr. to 4^th yr. High School life was so meaningful in our life, and it reminds me some memories with my friends. We also experience the Junior and Senior Proms to socialize with our fellow students. When it came to a month of September we started our intramurals. At first, there is a beauty pageant for Mr. and Ms. Intrams of different sections and on our section is the champion for two years because of the support of our adviser and that is Mrs. Rosali Sadio.

High school life is when students fall in love for the first time. When students fall in love, everything costs nothing but love; students are willing to do anything for the one they love. And I have encountered one of my friends who have a deep feeling for her love ones so he did it everything just for her.

Love is beautiful, fascinating, and also harmful. But losing lover is one of the reasons why students need truly friends, when split up with a girl or a boy, students need to talk out, truly friends will share the pain, help the upset one go through the hard time.High school life is the best memory for me, it’s like a rainbow, beautifully staying there, which students can just to see the amazing scenery, but never have a way to touch.

I enjoyed high school not only for my friends, but also because I learned many things there and the teachers were very good people. My experiences in high school are memorable moments for me. My friends and I enjoyed these moments because we told jokes, played, told stories, and went to parties at my friends' houses.  My friends and I were sad when the school year is near to be ended, because some of us were going to different universities. On the other hand, we were happy for our progress and our new important steps in our lives.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience a high school life. I cherish every experience and relationship that I have made in my four years of high school. Of course, as I move on with my life, I will value the education that high school has granted me. But it is the relationships that I have made with students and teachers that I will take with me as I graduate high school and move on to college.

My Profile

Hi there! May I introduce myself by the way I’m Karen C. Reyla. I live at Brgy. Nagserialan Camiling, Tarlac. I am 18 years of age. I have not lived such an easy life. However, I know God has always helped me and I am not sure how long I have to live.

 I was born on November 6, 1994. I was baptized at Philippine Independent Church. My parents are Rizalie C. Reyla who supports and take good care of us and Eduardo B. Reyla who sustain our needs. I grew up with my grandparents in Paoay, Ilocos Norte until I reach at the age of 10 then I transfer to live in Camiling, Tarlac. I have two sisters named Justine Mae D. Reyla and Kristal Jane C. Reyla and I’am the eldest among them. I am 5’ in height a brown complexion with a slim body and brown eyes.

 I love to listen music when I am alone because it remember me some memories with my friends and to my special someone. I always dream that someday I can be a good singer. One of my hobbies is playing downloaded games and sometimes I cook some foods that I know. My greatest favorite color is pink and I am addicted to Hello Kitty and Melody because during my childhood my mother always buy an items that there is always a Hello Kitty and Friends.

At the age of 4, I started to enter kindergarten and I made my first good friends in all my life and I remember them for the games that we played together. At that time I was very naughty girl and I am scared on the mascot of Jollibee because it is bigger than me. I finished my kindergarten at the age of 6 then later, I started elementary school. I made friends there and I like to study very well, do my homework, play with my friends, and talk with them about cartoons on television. In fact, I really enjoyed this time in my childhood. I studied at Nagbacalan Elementary School in Ilocos when I am grade 1 to grade 3 then I transferred here in Camiling at Asian Lexcon School when I was in grade 4. Fortunately I am an honor student from grade 4 to grade 6 and I am very proud for it. But after that I don’t have any special awards because during my high school life I admit that I did not study very well.

In my life I have meet many friends and one of them is Jemson who gave me a very cute pet and I call her “sunshine”. I take her a bath every day, feeding her three times a day and she has a weekly vaccine for anti rabbis with her own veterinarian. I am lucky to have her in my life.

I’ll cherish every moment that will happen to my life especially with my friends and whatever friends I have, I always like to spend a lot of time with them. Friendship is one of the most important things in our lives. Sometimes we cannot live without friends.
